Job Title: Financial Accountant
Salary: upto £49k per annum
Based in Chessington, Surrey

Our client, a well known organisation in the IT industry
Sole responsibility for the preparation of monthly and quarterly management
• Preparation and oversight of all month end journals, accruals, prepayments etc.
Detailed variance analysis of actual against estimated expenditure
• Preparation and ownership of detailed budgets and regular detailed forecasting
• P&L and balance sheet ownership, including full monthly reconciliations.
Assisting the Head of Finance and the Operations Manager with preparation of quarterly customer contract reporting finance schedules
Oversee correct invoice coding for transactions.
• Process, workpaper and report improvements as required
The candidate will be a part-qualified or recently qualified Accountant, keen to develop their role within the media industry. The individual should be a team player, with an ability to prioritise their own work load, operate under their own initiative and always work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
The candidate should have excellent communication skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. The applicant should be confident, with a drive to take full ownership of the management accounts, including both P&;L and Balance Sheet. The candidate should be open to working in a challenging change environment where finance systems and processes are currently being improved and developed. They should be at an advanced stage in their knowledge of Excel and Word.
