Job Title: Senior Associate - Credit Management
Salary: upto £33k per annum
Based in Birmingham

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career with an outstanding professional services organisation. They are seeking two talented and experienced credit managers or supervisors, who will be focusing on Executory work, as well as carrying out credit management consulting assignments.
Main purpose of the job:
To manage the collection of sales ledgers from insolvent companies, as well as conducting sales ledger reviews. To also provide consulting services to clients, involving mapping of existing credit management processes and systems, identifying weaknesses and risk, providing recommendations for improvement, and undertaking cash generation assignments for companies in crises.
This will suit those that enjoy traveling, as 70% of the time will be at client site here in the UK and Europe, with potentially significant time away from home.
Key tasks:
? On site, hands on sales ledger collection planning and recovery for insolvent companies
? Sales ledger security valuations
? Document the Estimated to Realise statements
? On site, hands on cash generation assignments for companies in crises
? Query and dispute resolution
? Process mapping and re-engineering
? On site staff management
? Debt collection agency co-ordination and monitoring
? VAT bad debt management
? Build and sustain internal stakeholder and client relationships
? Preparation of interim and final reports to clients
? Internal performance and management reporting
Knowledge, skills and experience:
? Significant experience in credit management, or similar supervisory role
? Would interest those from a working capital management, asset based lending, business recovery, insolvency practice or from a credit management consultancy background
? Some knowledge of insolvency preferred
? Institute of Credit Management (ICM) qualification or studying for one
? Basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills essential
? Ability to show initiative, whilst working to established methodologies
? Confident and professional
? Excellent communication skills
? Innovative, curious and resourceful
? Team worker, coach, with the ability to work alone
? Full UK Driving Licence
